For the first burn, allow the candle to melt until reaching the edge of the pillar, creating a full melt pool. This helps prevent tunneling (where the candle burns down the center, leaving a rim of un melted wax). The recommended burn time for the first burn is usually 1 hour per 2.5 cm of diameter.
For subsequent burns, limit the burning time to a few hours at a time. Burning for too long can lead to excessive dripping or even cause the candle to crack or shatter.
Avoid placing pillar candles in drafts or near air conditioning vents, as this can cause uneven burning, flickering, and dripping. Always place pillar candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials and out of reach of children and
The wax in these containers will last approximately 20 hours (smaller pots) -50 hours (larger pots and bowls) when used properly. In order to maximize the burn time, light the candle until a layer of liquid covers the entire candle (usually 4-5 hours). This allows the oil to heat and burn slowly. Do this each time you use the candle. Please note: If left to burn for only a short period of time, you will create a small tunnel in the middle of the candle which will waste all the surrounding wax.
Note: For wide open spaces, place one container every 3.5 to 4 meters apart surrounding the area you are seated in.
These large buckets filled with wax will burn for approximately 20 hours if used properly. In order to maximize the burn time, light the candle until a layer of liquid covers the entire candle (usually 3-4 hours). This allows the oil to heat and burn slow and clean. Do this each time you use the candle. Please note: If left to burn for only a short period of time, then you will create a small tunnel in the middle of the candle which will waste all the surrounding wax.
For wide open space, place one container every 2 meters apart surrounding the area you are seated in.
Note: For indoor areas, 1 large bucket is sufficient for medium size rooms.
Our citronella jars are suitable for both indoor and outdoor and will burn for approximately 45 hours (outdoor)-65 hours (indoor) when used properly. In order to maximize the burn time, light the candle until a layer of liquid wax covers the entire candle (usually 3-4 hours). This allows the oil to heat and burn slow and clean. Do this each time you use the candle. Please note: If left to burn for only a short period of time, then you will create a small tunnel in the middle of the candle which will waste all the surrounding wax.
Note: These jars are to be used for small outdoor spaces or small rooms such as a bedroom, office and kitchen. If the room is large, place 2 or 3 depending on how large the area is.
